The African embassies, ambassadors and heads of missions in the African countries celebrated The African Day under slogan (2015 the year of empowering women and youth) in Kuwait Regency Hotel. The exhibition included traditional handcrafts, traditional foods and national products, as has been the investment opportunities offered by the participating African countries.
The African Petroleum Company (APCO) represented by the chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim Mussa, a member of the Board Faisal Al-Mutairi and the Regional Director (East Africa) Mazin Ayoub, been invited to the event. This year event showed African Unity and its reliance on what the leaders of African countries agreed upon in the African Union summit in Addis Ababa (January 2015) which includes a road map to achieve great prosperity and development within the continent and take full advantage of the potential of its people and particularly in women and youth.
The Chief Executive Mr. Ibrahim Moussa met with the African ambassadors, exchanged topics of interest and investment opportunities within the continent through cooperation with governments and private companies.
